Body On April 28th, Antelope Memorial Hospital received the Most Improved Performance Award for 2025, as a member of the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) coordinated by Bryan Health.

Body At the April 27th Petersburg Red Cross blood Drive 41 units were collected with a goal of 42. This drive was a community celebration honoring Father Frank Baumert as he approaches the remarkable milestone of 600 units of blood products donated, saving many lives.

Body On Monday, April 13th at 5:18 p.m. the Petersburg Fire and Rescue were involved in a search and rescue at the Olson Nature Preserve south of Petersburg.

Body Last week the Petersburg Village Board held their annual village clean-up . The four dumpsters which sat on Main Street were filled to capacity even after Village Superintendent Nick Prothman used a payloader to press them down.

Body The Petersburg Community Red Cross blood drive is scheduled for Monday April 27,2026 in the Petersburg Post 334 American Legion Club from Noon to 6:00 p.m. The April drive will honor Father Frank Baumert of Petersburg.

Body Sunday members of the Petersburg golf league and Ladies golf league gathered to clean the Petersburg course. Following the clean-up a pizza meal was served and a short meeting held.

Body Petersburg Community Club president Danielle Koch presented a first Dollar plaque to Jacii Lopez of Elgin. Lopez is owner of A Kidz’s Life Daycare 2 located in the Village Campus. Lopez and employees provide daycare in a fun filled environment with indoor and outdoor activities.

Body The 40th Annual Pope John Development Dinner was held Sunday evening, March 29th at Werner Hall in Petersburg. Approximately 180 tickets were sold for the event.
